John Kim

President

John Kim is President of Global Energy, which has helped businesses procure energy since 2010. He started out knocking on doors in Queens, where he saw how much value he could bring to the many business owners who needed expert guidance on utility bills and supplier contracts. That experience shaped how Global Energy works today. The company serves businesses across 21 states, from single-location operators to multi-site portfolios with complex procurement needs, and John still treats every account with the same care as the company's first customers.

His approach is grounded in his life verse: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" (Matthew 22:37–39, NIV) For John, that means giving honest advice, being transparent, and putting his clients' needs first.

John lives in Westfield, NJ, with his wife of more than 25 years and their five children. When he's not reviewing utility bills or negotiating contracts, you'll likely find him on the pickleball courts.
